FAQ’s
Qualified active investors can join the Regatta. Priority is given to VNTR Club members.
The VNTR Regatta will gather 20+ participants to ensure quality networking and interactions.
Yes, it is possible.
No prior experience is needed for this leisurely sailing trip. Our expert skippers are ready to guide you through the basics, from hoisting sails to knot tying, ensuring you learn all the essentials of yachting during your journey.
Essential Items:
Medications, including seasickness pills. The catamaran is equipped with a basic first aid kit, but it is advisable to bring any personal medications that you might need while on board.
Sunglasses with polarized lenses are recommended to protect your eyes from the glare of the sun and reflective surfaces on the boat.
Sunscreen with SPF 20 or higher to protect against sunburn.
Headgear such as a cap, bandana, or hat to shield yourself from the sun.
Deck shoes should be worn on the catamaran. Shoes for the catamaran should have non-marking, non-slip soles, cover the toes, and dry quickly. Sneakers are suitable, but consider the weather as they may become uncomfortable in rain.
Gloves, preferably fingerless, make it easier to handle ropes and tie knots. Working with ropes can cause burns and blisters, especially when they are wet with seawater.
Swimwear and casual clothing for a week on the water should include 2-3 synthetic t-shirts (quick-drying), trousers for deck work (preferably synthetic, not jeans), 1-2 long-sleeved shirts, a windproof and waterproof jacket with a hood, and a fleece sweater. Yachting jackets and trousers are also suitable.
Shore clothing. It's not appropriate to wear a swimsuit and flip-flops to restaurants.
Toiletries should be packed in a toiletry bag or a pack to easily carry them ashore for showers in the morning and evening.
Soft bag is recommended over a hard suitcase as space on the catamaran is limited. Waterproof bags are suggested to protect your belongings from rain. If it's not possible to leave a hard suitcase at the charter company office, it can be taken on board.
Optional Items:
Earplugs can be useful as the boat may creak, and sounds from the waves, cockpit conversations, and neighboring boats can be loud.
Laptops and mobile phones are allowed. Some marinas provide free Wi-Fi, and there is a 220V outlet on the boat which can be used when docked and connected to shore power.
Towel - the boat provides linens and towels, but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
Waterproof cases for documents and electronic devices can be useful to protect against water damage.
Refunds are not available as payments are used for catamaran rentals. However, you can substitute another participant in your place. We will assist in finding a replacement if needed. If a replacement is found, a full refund will be issued.
We built VNTR with a desire to better collaborate with the global community of investment peers—to support one another, exchange investment opportunities, and apply the power of the collective to make informed investment decisions.

What our community says
Gillian Muessig
Managing Director at MasterFund
VNTR is, hands down, the most effective and productive investor network for fund managers. I have reviewed well over 50 such groups, some of which charge many times more than VNTR asks for its Club membership. Only VNTR has provided such bespoke, hands-on, deeply engaged support during our capital raise. They make introductions, host events in cities around the world, and even host local dinners, sending out invitations to colleagues and active investors on our behalf.
Alexander Filatov
CEO at EverX
VNTR’s dedication to efficiency and productivity is truly remarkable, as they consistently deliver a multitude of investor events around the world. What further sets VNTR apart is their high focus on customization tailored to the specific needs of their Club members. They understand the importance of providing personalized support and go above and beyond to ensure that their members' requirements are met. Last, but not least I appreciate experimentation with different formats of networking, matching, socialising etc.
